Sharjah Ruler Visits Bloomsbury Publishing in London

Sharjah - April 14th, 2016: His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on Wednesday morning visited Bloomsbury Publishing in London.
He was received by Nigel Newton, Founder and Chief Executive of Bloomsbury Publishing, who took him on a tour around the publishing house and introduced him to its various sections and prominent publications.
During the visit, His Highness viewed a wide array of Bloomsbury’s latest publications, which ranged between historical, literary, artistic, scientific and philosophical, as well as a number of the house’s rare holdings, including paintings, antiques and historical references.
Bloomsbury introduced some of its titles that have made it to the world’s top five best-selling books to His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi.
His Highness was then briefed about the workflow at the house’s proofreading, international sales and marketing sections.
Bloomsbury Publishing is one of the best and most renowned British publishers, both locally and internationally. It has translated and published many of the works of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, in addition to a big variety of Arabic books on history and other sciences.
The Founder and Chief Executive of Bloomsbury Publishing thanked His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi for his visit, noting that the visit comes as no surprise since His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah is a distinguished author who loves books and works hard to preserve them.
