Smart Skyscrapers Summit welcomes U.S. Green Building Council as Premium Supporting Partner

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, March 15, 2016: Smart Skyscrapers Summit takes great pride in announcing U.S. Green Building Council as a Premium Supporting Partner of this year’s edition of the summit. Produced by global conference organizers, Expotrade, the summit is set to take place on 16-17 May, 2016 at Sofitel Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa.

This association is especially relevant as the increase in green construction in GCC and other regions is driven by the increasing environmental awareness amongst all key stakeholders. U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED Green Building Rating System is recognized as a widely accepted certification system for green buildings. At the two-day summit, U.S. Green Building Council will present information on how LEED, currently in 155 countries and territories, is being used in skyscrapers to great benefit in terms of energy efficiency, water conservation and the creation of healthier indoor environments.
