Microsoft to Empower Thousands of IT Professionals on the Cloud Across the Gulf Region

Training sessions to empower participants to harness the cloud and achieve more with less using latest technologies
Dubai, United Arab Emirates — Jan. 27, 2016. In view of the company’s mission of empowering every individual and organisation on the planet, Microsoft Gulf has organised a training series on Azure as part of their Azure Gulf Training program to support efforts of enabling companies to harness the cloud and achieve more with less using the latest technologies. The readiness is a combination of online and hands-on sessions for professionals to learn the fundamentals of Cloud for addressing business challenges to help modernize their main business functions while being cost efficient.
Azure Gulf Professional is a series of courses that builds from the fundamentals of Azure and the problems it can solve for any company ranging from individuals and start-ups through small business to multinationals and Fortune 500 companies. The material will educate IT professionals on Azure implementation and cover important areas necessary to start harnessing the Cloud. A special focus will be key ‘hero scenarios’ that provide significant benefits to companies, these include Websites, Backup/Recovery and Disaster Recovery, along with Test and Development. Attendees will learn how to develop new technology strategies for their organization by using Microsoft Azure. The training will also take the participants from a beginner level and advance towards the deployment of virtual machines and the value they offer, then onwards to cover the ‘hero scenarios’. In addition to the ‘hero scenarios’ the material will lead towards handling advanced capabilities with techniques such as machine learning, advanced analytics, as well as embracing IoT with the ‘Internet of your things’. Individuals who complete and validate their training will be eligible for a select certification.
In addition to the online training courses, Microsoft will continue to host Azure IT training camps across the gulf countries including UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. The IT camps will enlighten IT and Infrastructure professionals to explore cloud solutions with their existing datacentres and improve data centre flexibility by deploying new technologies.
