Agreement covers wide breadth of Huawei enterprise ICT solutions in multiple verticals across the GCC and beyond
Dubai, UAE, January 7, 2016: Huawei—a leading global ICT solutions provider—has announced a new partnership agreement with TechAccess—a leading regional Value Added IT distributor headquartered in Dubai, UAE.
TechAccess (TA) is a well-known player in the IT distribution landscape in MENA and maintains a strong network of more than 400 specialized enterprise-level IT partners. TA also has a large regional footprint with coverage across 17 countries in the Middle East and North Africa.
TA will now be able to offer Huawei’s wide range of enterprise ICT products including servers, storage and networking solutions to key customer and verticals through its specialized IT partner base and play a leading role in developing a strong channel for Huawei enterprise products. TA will offer Huawei partner and their customer’s access to its own state-of-the-art solution center for Proof of Concept and trainings. TA will also provide comprehensive support in terms of partner recruitment, enablement, product marketing, channel support & readiness, and partner-centric loyalty programs.
Both companies will focus on bringing Huawei’s solutions portfolio to key industries such as telecommunications, banking, government and the oil & gas sector across the GCC as well as Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Shomail Ghalib, CEO and President of TechAccess, said: “We are truly excited about partnering with Huawei and in playing a pivotal role in Huawei’s channel distribution strategy for this region. Huawei has a very strong product portfolio and this will now empower our partners to offer a very robust end-to-end solutions portfolio in key segments and markets.”
Hany Hussein, Vice President of Channel & Alliances from Huawei Enterprise Middle East, said: “For many years now we have strived to work with the very best ICT partners across the region, and TechAccess is a great addition to our existing regional partner network. Huawei’s commitment to innovation and customer service is giving local businesses the opportunity to realize the true value of ICT transformation as it contributes to the bottom line of the organization. We look forward to expanding on that strategy through this latest partnership with TechAccess.”
In the enterprise ICT domain, Huawei’s partner strategy has been to focus on close cooperation and integration with organizations like TechAccess to deliver its wide range of solutions based on a deep personal understanding of our Partner’s needs. Since launching its renewed Middle East channel strategy earlier this year, Huawei has worked to extend its partner network collaborating with resellers and value-added distributors.
A core element of Huawei’s channel strategy involves building upon the strength of its partner network through specialized trainings and technical knowledge transfer that empower its partners to identify new opportunities for growth. These initiatives ensure that Huawei’s partners are equipped with the knowledge necessary to showcase how cutting-edge ICT solutions can drive efficiencies, offer greater flexibility, and reduce CAPEX & OPEX for customers across the Middle East.
