About the Campaign:

Procter & Gamble (P&G) achieved their goal of 1.6 million vaccines in support of the P&G Pampers-UNICEF initiative, now in its tenth year. This year the campaign, launched on September 6 in partnership with Carrefour and Al Jalila Foundation, once again achieved its targeted number of vaccines in support of UNICEF's global initiative to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus (MNT).

The P&G Pampers-UNICEF campaign in the UAE has supported UNICEF's global drive to provide vaccinations for healthy babies since 2006. This year, for every promoted pack of Always, Ariel, Fairy, Head & Shoulders, Olay, Oral B, Pampers, Pantene and Tide products purchased from Carrefour, P&G donated the cost of one life-saving vaccine to UNICEF.

This year, a portion of the funds raised will also be used by Al Jalila Foundation in support of health-related interventions for children nationally in the UAE. Since 2006, Pampers' funding has helped eliminate neonatal tetanus in 15 countries by donating more than 300 million vaccines to women and their children in countries including Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Ghana, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Myanmar, Senegal, Tanzania, Timor Leste and Uganda.
