Young, carefree, cool; the Dsquared2 surfers of Spring Summer 2016  are on an endless quest chasing the perfect swell. Nomads travelling the world  for the ultimate ride, their knapsacks are packed with rugged pieces that take on souvenirs from their journeys – from shells and cables, down to lace panties from the night before. 

Dsquared2’s surfing mavericks dress with multiple layers, tattoo printed tulle body suits underneath long baggy shorts, studded mesh tanks, oversized anoraks and straw-lined knit hats. Their drifter style is punctuated with a giant poncho, long T-shirts with floral prints embellished with beads, and scuba inspired leggings. 

Leather is rough and tough, in washed vegetable-tanned boxy jackets and gilets; or sleek and glossy in bonded shorts or a hybrid jersey and leather pant to articulate a lean, tight fit. 

Summer denim is iterated two ways. Indigo jeans and short are over-sized and wired, their legs crumpled yet structured. Skinny-fit slightly cropped jeans are destroyed and frayed, tie-dyed and bleached. A denim jacket features a high-contrast dip-dye, the inky blue shoulders fading into bleach-white bottom.

Surfer essentials reveal subtle details: a pair of short in a tattoo print is encrusted with allover tonal beading, windbreakers and shorts feature rainbow embroidery and military combat details

Wakeboard style sneakers are accented with fluorescent laces and bindings, and sporty sandals with colored inner soles. Knapsacks are fully decked out with external pockets and straps to pack in all the essentials for seeking the gnarliest points breaks.
