Dubai, June 24, 2015: Schön Properties, the leading and the most successful company of the Schön Group in Dubai, UAE, has officially committed its support for the Dubai Cares Ramadan campaign 2015 through making a direct financial donation to the organization. A key player in the property landscape of Dubai, Schön Properties has not only been a committed provider to its customers, but has also been impeccable in its service to society through its efforts under the CSR program.
Functioning to create attractive real estate projects to serve investors' interests and to guarantee superior quality properties for the benefit of the end user, Schön Properties emphasises on the core value of world-class customer service. In addition, it also hinges heavily on ethical, reputable and successful business endeavours that are built on the foundation of providing the best value for all customers.
While being a key and devoted player with the interests of the customer in mind, Schön Properties is also exceptionally cued in with its duties to society. In the backdrop of a festive milieu such as Ramadan, Schön Properties has combined its efforts in the CSR program with the concept of service and donation that Ramadan stands for.
It is against this backdrop that they have sought to donate to Dubai Cares ‘We Can Teach Each Other’ Ramadan campaign 2015, which emphasizes the abundance of talent and resourcefulness amongst children in developing countries, as well as the responsibility of the international community to help empower these children through education.
The campaign looks at a sample of children from different contexts in developing countries who showcase their life skills and aptitudes through making crafts such as wearable items and toys using various simple material such as disposable bags, old shoes, plastic and clothes, as well as natural resources such as tree leaves and twigs. The unique campaign aims to promote a first-of-a-kind skill exchange between children in impoverished communities and school-going children from around the world.
Dubai Cares is a global philanthropic organization that aims to provide children in developing countries with access to quality primary education. Education is a critical factor in every child’s development. Yet 58 million children around the world don’t go to school and a further 250 million cannot adequately read and write.
Speaking about the initiative on part of Schön Properties, Orkhan Salamov, Vice-President – Corporate Communication explained, “We are extremely happy and proud to be a part of the Dubai Cares Ramadan campaign 2015 through a donation to the cause of education. In addition to the direct donation, we will also be donating 2.5% from every property sales made during the month of Ramadan. Education is a very important element in development, and investing in children is investing in the future of the world”.
“In this season of brotherhood, it is a wonderful way to spread joy and to help those around us that are in need. We hope to see many more people, organisations and communities join us in contributing to the campaign. We are happy to take this positive approach especially during the Holy month of Ramadan”, he added.
Schön Properties has a range of interesting projects in the pipeline, some of their residential property efforts such as Lotus Residence, Rowan Residence, Lily Residence, Winterberry Residence as well as AVA Designer Residences are exceptionally popular buildings that endorse the stellar values of Schön Properties to deliver according to international standards in terms of design, quality, luxury and space.
In addition to their residential properties, the Schön Business Park that is scheduled for handover this year is another project that manifests innovative and far-sighted thinking, but for the business needs of a bustling metropolis. Location conscious and cost-effective as an office and retail space in Dubai, the Business Park is renowned as a means for the Group's mission to engage with the needs of the region.
