Kansai secures new contract for 3,000 villa project in Al Ain

The leading paint brand has bagged the contract for a large Emirati housing project
Dubai, June 11, 2015: Kansai Paint – a global leader in the paints and coatings industry – recently announced acquisition of a new supply and apply contract for the Jebel Hafeet Emirati housing project in Al Ain. The project will be completed using eco-friendly water-based exterior products by Kansai’s professionally trained application team from Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Commenting on the project, Mr. Syed Ameer Hamza Hasan, CEO of Kansai Paint MENA & CIS said, “The project is another feather in our cap and reiterates our position in the regions paint industry. The Emirati housing project in Al Ain is a prestigious venture of which we are thrilled to be a part of.”
“The project will feature Kansai’s new exterior coatings line – Neoshield Ultra – designed using pure acrylic with the additional feature of reducing indoor air temperatures to keep villas cooler during the harsh Middle Eastern summer,” he added.
The Emirati housing project is being developed by the Abu Dhabi-based real estate development company Tamouh Investments. It includes construction of a new residential housing community for Emirati Nationals in Al Ain, spanning 4.4 million square meters at the western base of Jebel Hafeet and 13 kilometers south of Al Ain's city. In addition to 3,000 new villas, a wide range of neighborhood amenities such as schools, health and recreational facilities, and mosques will also be build.
With an established global track record of nearly 100 years, the contract marks one of the largest housing projects secured by Kansai in the Middle East.
The project is scheduled for completion by September 2016.
