Where To Spot Modesh And Dana As They Travel Around The City This DSS

As the sunny-faced Dubai character marks his 25th anniversary this year, families can find Modesh and his friend Dana throughout the city all summer long
The pair will also meet visitors at Modesh World, the region’s largest indoor edutainment attractions with hundreds of thrilling activities, games, and rides for all ages
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 24 July 2024: Dubai’s favourite mascot Modesh has brought joy to families for more than two decades. For this year’s edition of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), he can be seen travelling around the city with his friend Dana as they make special appearances all summer long.
As part of the DSS summer line-up of thousands of things to do, see, experience, and explore, Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) has organised exciting meet-and-greets with the pair at citywide malls and iconic destinations until 1 September. The friends can also be seen at Modesh World, the region’s largest indoor edutainment attraction, which returns to Dubai World Trade Centre for its milestone 25th edition year.
MODESH AT THE MALL
Modesh emerged on the Dubai summer scene in 1999 and has brought endless joy and delight to residents and visitors ever since. This year, as he celebrates a milestone 25th anniversary, families can enjoy exciting meet-and-greets with him all around the city. Youngsters can look out for Modesh and his friend Dana He’s then scheduled to appear at City Centre Deira, City Centre Al Shindagha on 27 July, and Circle Mall on 28 July.
Modesh will make additional appearances in August at Dragon Mart, The View at The Palm, Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif, City Centre Me'aisem, Nakheel Mall, and Al Barsha Mall. The lovable characters will also greet visitors arriving at Dubai International Airport (DXB) Terminal 1 every weekend until 1 September.
Modesh’s first and only store in the city is now welcoming young shoppers at Dubai Festival City Mall, featuring the latest collection of themed merchandise in celebration of his 25th grand anniversary this year. The first 25 shoppers at the store every day will receive special vouchers to spend at Modesh World.

Families enjoying the endless fun of Modesh World, the region’s largest indoor entertainment and amusement facilities, can say hello to Modesh himself all summer until 18 August. The sprawling edutainment attraction at Dubai World Trade Centre Halls 3 – 8 returns with special additions to celebrate Modesh’s 25th anniversary. Bringing the biggest and most exciting season ever to families all summer long, visitors can find non-stop entertainment, new attractions and a jam-packed calendar of thrilling live shows, exhilarating rides, informative workshops, and so much more. Special new experiences have been introduced this year, with more than 170 attractions to explore - including a thrilling new Inflatable Park with nine amazing experiences, the first-ever Modesh World Summer Camp with two dedicated programmes for children aged four to eight-years-old and kids between eight and fourteen years of age, and all-new bespoke Birthday Celebration packages for children looking to make their big day even more memorable by celebrating with Modesh. Open daily with free entry for all, this year's edition runs until 18 August from 10am - 10pm on Mondays to Thursdays, and from 10am - 12am on Fridays to Sundays.
