Al Hilal Bank hosts preparatory discussions for ‘UAE Banks Reception' forming part of ‘The IMF World Bank annual meetings 2015'

UAE, June 08, 2015 - Al Hilal Bank recently hosted the third preparatory session for the United Arab Emirates Banks Reception scheduled to take place as part of the 2015 Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group (WBG) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) running from October 9 to 11, 2015 in Lima, Peru.

The meeting was organized at the Al Hilal Bank headquarters in Abu Dhabi’s Al Bahr Tower and was attended by representatives from the UAE Ministry of Finance, the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), National Bank of Abu Dhabi, Dubai Islamic Bank, Emirates NBD, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Union National Bank, and Commercial Bank of Dubai. The group discussed the status of marketing and media plans and other key activities related to the upcoming reception.

The United Arab Emirates Banks Reception is being organized by The Banker, an English-language monthly international financial affairs publication owned by The Financial Times Ltd., in partnership with the Ministry of Finance, the Central Bank of the UAE and DIFC. Al Hilal Bank is among the UAE banks sponsoring the event. The invitation-only reception will gather senior bankers, investors, and policy makers to discuss the latest developments in the UAE banking sector.
