Karl Lagerfeld Fall Winter 2015 - 2016

Elegance, shine, textures and a playful miaow are the keywords for the Karl Lagerfeld Autumn/Winter 2015/16 collection.

Black leads the way as a total look or as the focal color on silhouettes which are not afraid to layer and mix materials.

Leather brings its sleek elegance, contrasted with the opulence of fake fur and the futuristic geometry of a technical fabric with a geometric cut-out.

Bold shapes - circles, stars - take their place on tops and dresses, with an added sparkle coming from a lurex-effect fabric or silver edging.

Lines are modern yet with a hint of retro, as always starring the classic biker jacket and its subtle declinations. A full short skirt or bermuda shorts in contrasted leather and suede reveal the legs, while fake fur is worn over a sheer top to give a glimpse of winter skin. Masculine, even military inspirations are evident in zipped jackets, trench-style coats and the classic tuxedo, while tweed plays on the feminine side.

Beyond classic black, shades of khaki and burgundy express a seasonal elegance, given a wake-up call with bright touches of red and pink as Choupette adds her say to the mix. Karl's favorite feline is once again the star of a capsule collection, this time entitled « Choupette in Love » and featuring the star with her new boyfriend Bad Boy, who both appear on clutches and bags as well as inspiring an adorable cat's ear beanie hat. The collection also includes ready-to-wear with illustrated tee and sweatshirt.
 
The iconic range of Karl Lagerfeld bags and accessories takes its lead from the collection, worked in black, khaki, beige or burgundy.
Stars include the K/Kuilted bucket shape and K/Klassic with its metal chain, as well as the limited edition Choupette capsule with its quirky appliqué.

Geometric details also feature, reflecting one of the season's main trends, while the K/Kuilted range is now also available with a tweed finish.

The new star is the Pinclosure, a compact geometric shoulder bag with a bold metallic clasp.
