Dubai-UAE: 25 May, 2015 – Noor Bank has received the ‘Employer of The Year' award at the Celebration of Partnership event hosted by the Higher Colleges of Technology's Dubai Women's College (DWC). The award recognises the bank's commendable Emiratisation policy and sustained efforts in offering attractive employment opportunities to UAE nationals.
Commenting on the award, Hind Al Attar, Head of HR, Noor Bank said: “Noor Bank is proud to receive this distinction, which acknowledges our efforts across various Emiratisation initiatives such as the coaching and mentoring programme and our sustained support to young nationals through participation in various careers fairs. We are pleased to be part of this nation-wide effort towards developing a competent national workforce in the UAE.”
Hind Al Attar added: “At Noor Bank, we are as focused about hiring the best talent as we are about integrating qualified Emiratis into the workforce. Today, we are fortunate to have Emiratis in leadership positions across the bank's various businesses. We hope to assist more nationals in taking on executive roles through our learning and development programmes.”
Noor Bank's coaching and mentoring programme focuses on developing the next generation of Emirati leaders within the bank, as well as teaching them skills that can be used throughout their career.
