The entertainer app joins forces with uber to help enhance user experience

International incentives brand becomes first locally-based business to integrate Uber’s API

Dubai, 25th May 2015 – The Entertainer, the Dubai-based international incentives provider, announced today a new integration with smartphone technology company Uber, which will allow customers to request an Uber car directly through the Entertainer’s App. The partnership represents Uber’s first API integration with a UAE-based business, and will be available across all the Entertainer’s markets.

As a result of the new introduction, customers searching through the App will now see an Uber icon on the screen. Registered Uber users will be able to click on the icon and request an Uber ride, choose a car type, and view the estimated time of arrival directly and seamlessly through the Entertainer App. The new feature also means that the drivers will know exactly where they are heading.

The award-winning Entertainer App gives customers hundreds of buy one get one free offers for restaurants, cafés, nightspots, sports, leisure, waterparks, attractions, hotel accommodation, spas, salons, health and fitness centres and much more. Introducing Uber to the Entertainer App provides customers increased convenience and is a step forward in making the App a holistic lifestyle product.

The Entertainer App also offers users a host of other user-friendly features such as a simple PIN-based redemption, location-based search where users can find outlets and offers closest to them, and a savings calculator which tracks savings made using the Entertainer offers. The App is free to download for Apple, Android, Blackberry 10 and Windows phones.
