Dubai, United Arab Emirates 21, May 2015- The SNC-VM772R was included in a roundup of 2015’s most innovative companies at IFSEC Global which gathers more than 30,000 monthly unique users. Sony was showcased alongside many industry big names at the forefront of product development and as a leader in the industry.

Sony’s first 4K camera combines 4K resolution – four times the resolution of Full HD (1080p) – with low-light sensitivity thanks to its 1.0 type back Illuminated Exmor R CMOS image sensor.

Sony is targeting city surveillance, transportation, railway, and traffic monitoring and airport surveillance markets.

How is it innovative?

• Back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS image sensor enhances low-light sensitivity – traditionally sacrificed through rising image resolution. Back-lit structure doubles light sensitivity
• Built-in infrared (IR) light source enhances performance in low-light conditions and night-time shooting, enabling visibility at longer distances
• Unique bandwidth optimisation technologies allow customisation of streaming settings and operation
• The Intelligent Coding feature reduces storage and bandwidth consumption by adapting compression depending on area of interest
• Intelligent Cropping and Multi-Tracking allows selection of up to four ‘regions of interest’ so users can select only the portion of an image they want to see in 4K resolution, while streaming a scaled full HD image. This slashes bandwidth consumption by 50% , making wide area monitoring more effective and targeted
• Intelligent Scene Capture function automatically adjusts and adapts picture quality (brightness and color) depending on time, weather and lighting conditions. Customisable picture parameter presets for best settings between day/night and multiple picture configurations can be saved and switched either manually (using Picture Profile mode) or according to schedule (Picture Profile Scheduler)
