Alfardan Group donates QAR 300,000 to Qatar Red Crescent Society

Alfardan Group has announced a donation of QAR 300,000 to the Qatar Red Crescent Society to help the citizens of Yemen. Mr Wael Jamal, Head of Corporate HR, Alfardan Group handed the donation to Mr Saed Shaeen Al Kaabi, Head of Resource Mobilization, Qatar Red Crescent Society; in a private ceremony held recently at Alfardan Towers.

The Qatar Red Crescent Society will use the donated amount to fund its humanitarian work of providing basic amenities such as food and water, clothes, shelter, and medical aid to alleviate the sufferings of the people of Yemen. The philanthropic move by Alfardan Group demonstrates its strong commitment to making valuable contributions towards bringing meaningful changes to the lives of deprived and needy people. Such public welfare activities and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives are deeply embedded in the Group’s corporate culture, reflecting its core values.
