Dubai, UAE – 29 March 2015: Entries for the final race in the season calendar; The Nissan Triathlon Festival have passed 500 with registration closing tomorrow. The race, which is now in its second year, offers Sprint and Olympic distance triathlons, Aquathons and a Sprint corporate challenge.
The event aims to provide a friendly but competitive race for all abilities. Race Director, Paul Venn said “The Nissan Triathlon Festival attracts a broader range of athletes with the Aquathons offering strong swimmers or runners the chance to enjoy a multisport race. These shorter races are also a great stepping stone into the sport of triathlon”.
The Nissan Triathlon Festival is one of the last races in a busy season and takes place on The Palm, Jumeirah. Competitors will swim in the waters off the Atlantis beach before cycling down the trunk of the Palm and then running anticlockwise on the crescent towards the One & Only Resort and back.
The race is sponsored by Nissan and Arabian Automobiles, organised by Race Me (Tri Race Events Management) and supported by Nakheel and Dubai Sports Council.
