Ferrari & Maserati Extended Warranty from ARMotors

“We started offering a Porsche Extended Warranty six years ago. The reasons for doing so were basically the requests from our clients.” This was a statement Alex Renner, Managing Director of AR Motors made beginning of 2013. Now, two years later, AR Motors is offering another unique service. For the first time in the UAE Ferrari and Maserati owner will be able to enjoy an extended warranty for their cars.

Alex explained the reasons behind this new service: “A lot of our Ferrari and Maserati clients are driving or owning their car beyond the manufacturers warranty. This means that the manufacturer warranty for both brands has expired. A vast majority of these owners are looking to keep their car in good shape and do not want to run the risk of being surprised by an unexpected high repair bill.”

We asked Alex to highlight on the features of their offer and why Ferrari and Maserati owners will engage in this warranty offer. “ Well, there are a few reasons. Firstly, completing or engaging in our Extended Ferrari or Maserati Warranty Program entails a very short approval process. We have tried to structure our warranty offer as uncomplicated and un-bureaucratic as possible with very short internal reporting between our departments. Another reason is our transparency. In our disclaimer we clearly mention who or rather which car qualifies for our warranty. We must inspect the vehicle resulting in a condition report to verify current car condition, trace of its service history, previous accidents and other current status of the vehicle. The vehicle mileage must not exceed 80,000 km and 7 years of age. The car must not have been involved in a serious accident involving chassis damage, been modified, stolen or should not take part in competitions or track days. Lastly, the car should not have been used by car rental companies for long or short-term rentals.”

We asked Alex to explain the tangible benefits of an extended warranty in general. “The objective for all Ferrari and Maserati owners should be to have fun with their vehicle and drive safely at all times. This should also apply when the car is out of manufacturer warranty. Engaging in a warranty program like ours has ample advantages. Here I would like to name three; Improved residual value of the vehicle over time. The coverage will continue to be valid even after sale of the vehicle to a new owner. If an owner wish to upgrade or modify his/her car, the warranty is not voided if we suggested, discussed these modification and carried them out.”
