My-HD Launches H2® in the Middle East

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 8th March 2015: My-HD, the first and only ultra-low HD Pay-TV platform in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), has added H2® from A+E Networks to its growing portfolio of HD offerings.
My-HD CEO, Cliff Nelson, said: “We are happy to ally with one of the world’s premiere media companies and bring the H2 brand to the region. Our subscribers value our quality documentary portfolio and we are pleased to add the H2 brand to the genre.”
H2 is an extension of the HISTORY brand, where information is entertainment, experienced in unexpected and exciting ways.The channel features an original line up of series and specials that take a deep perspective on history from all around the globe with content that is contemporary, entertaining and accessible.
My-HD subscribers will have the opportunity to watch, H2’s upcoming program line-up which includes “Brad Meltzer’s Decoded”, a new 11-part series in which Meltzer scours secret clues, symbols and conspiracy theories to unravel some of society’s most provocative enigmas; Following which is “Soviet Storm: WWII”, that explores some of the most devastating battles of the war – from the Red Army’s catastrophic encirclement of Kiev in 1941 to the notorious ‘Rzhev meat-grinder’. One could also look forward to “America: The Story of the US”, a key series this month, it is the extraordinary story of how America was invented, leading from the frontier to 21st Century cities, from the Mississippi to the moon, from colonial Jamestown to 9/11 up to the present day.
H2 is currently in over 70 territories across North America, Southeast Asia, Latin America, Europe and the Middle East. The channel is available in more than 110 million households worldwide.
