UAE's Business Community gets behind The IPIC World Triathlon Abu Dhabi

Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan Rotana Hotel, Etihad Airways, and Mubadala’s Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Healthpoint and Imperial College London Diabetes Centre and more confirmed as event sponsors
Abu Dhabi, UAE. Wednesday, 4 March 2015: A host of international and government organisations will support the inaugural IPIC World Triathlon Abu Dhabi, hosted by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, on March 6-7 on the UAE capital’s iconic Corniche. Joining title sponsor International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC), event partners include Mubadala’s Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Healthpoint and Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, Etihad Airways and Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan Rotana Hotel.
With over 2,100 adults and youngsters signed up for the debut event and the Aquathlon this weekend the IPIC World Triathlon Abu Dhabi is becoming one of the most highly anticipated triathlons in the Middle East. The ITU World Triathlon Series has an impressive media footprint which includes a global television audience of over 200 million in 160 countries. As a result the IPIC World Triathlon Abu Dhabi has been earmarked by regional and international sponsors as the perfect vehicle to leverage brand awareness and celebrate what is set to be a memorable triathlon.
IPIC World Triathlon Abu Dhabi sponsors include the Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan Rotana which is the official race hotel and offers exclusive rates for spectators and participants this weekend. Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, has also come on-board as event sponsor for the inaugural event on March 7.
Mubadala’s network of world-class healthcare facilities including Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Healthpoint and Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, are also key partners at the event, helping the organisers deliver an unforgettable weekend to all those involved.

The IPIC World Triathlon Abu Dhabi is a great family day out with activities for everyone, from those competing to spectators who can enjoy the interactive Fans’ village. All sponsors will have a series of exciting competitions and activities on offer this weekend on Abu Dhabi’s iconic Corniche by the Abu Dhabi Sailing & Yacht Club. For those who would prefer to watch from the side-lines, both the IPIC World Triathlon Abu Dhabi and the Aquathlon this weekend will feature a spectator-friendly environment including a 1,000-seater grandstand.
