After a succession of popular collections, Michelle Keegan is back with a fresh new take on her style inspirations and re-worked classics.
Actress Michelle comments: “Spring is such a fun time in fashion and my new collection is full of fresh new styles and colours that will have you excited for the season ahead.”
The colour palette for this range has incorporated the timeless monochrome trend. By playing with all manner of decorative designs, the range provides a fresh black & white makeover. Against this monochrome backdrop sits highlights of softer hues. This season there is a shift towards cooler sides of the colour spectrum, with a mix of ethereal understated brights, pale pastels and soft cool tones that took centre stage at the SS15 catwalks. The range incorporates flashes of hot pink for an injection of colour.
Like previous collections this new line offers a dress wardrobe full of shapes and styles that Michelle herself champions. The ever-popular spaghetti strap style has transcended seasons and for this spring comeback it has been re-worked in a variety of styles, from an orchid printed evening look to a mono premium lace that's perfect for special occasions.
Sheer inserts make a welcomed comeback with lace detailing featured on the long sleeve scalloped edge dress, which comes in both white and black. This peek-a-boo detailing adds a touch of flirty to an otherwise classic shape. Sheer inserts also feature on the black midi polka dot dress, which is the perfect new season update to the classic LBD. Michelle, who favours a one piece, has included an on-trend Peter Pan collar playsuit detailed with sheer check.
The vintage-inspired Bardot shape makes a welcome return with a texture waffle fabric dress in tennis white. For a classic Bardot look, the off-the-shoulder white peplum top can be perfectly paired with the skinny panelled leggings. Or, for a re-worked alternative the matching co-ord set in statement monochrome stripes is the perfect reinvention of old versus new.
