Bamboo Paper adds new level of precision for the Bamboo Stylus fineline and Intuos Creative Stylus 2
Last Update: Monday, February 23, 2015 : 17:00 (+4GMT)
Wacom’s successful note taking app Bamboo Paper is getting even better. The latest update noticeably improves both precision and comfort when working with the Bamboo Stylus fineline and Intuos Creative Stylus 2.
Users of Wacom’s smart styli will feel the difference immediately after installation. When setting up the app and configuring their stylus, users can now choose from six different wrist positions. These reflect the most common positions of the hand while writing and sketching. By choosing the position that corresponds best to how users hold the pen and their wrist, the update will considerably improve the offset correction. The setup is quick and easy, using pictures to explain the process.
Wacom Stylus firmware update
The best results in Bamboo Paper can be achieved by also installing the latest firmware update for the Bamboo fineline and Intuos Creative Stylus 2. It comes as an app called “Wacom Stylus Update” and is now available in Apple’s iTunes App Store here. Users simply download the app and pair their Wacom stylus via Bluetooth and the app will guide them through the update. Apart from greater accuracy when writing and drawing fast or in small detail, this firmware update also makes sure that the battery level is indicated correctly.
The new version of Bamboo Paper offers all users more comfort and greater precision when writing and sketching on the iPad. Whether it’s a quick note, a simple sketch or a short message with a personal touch – Bamboo Paper is all about making handwriting and drawing on the iPad even easier.
