Dubai - 31 December 2014: The key 'kolor block' trend with its bright shades as well as a gentler pastel palette drive colour to the heart of the collection. Whether in shades of pale pink or washed denim, tailoring melds with jean or tuxedo details to create contemporary shapes with a sharp focus. A closer look reveals leather lapels, zips or contrasted white collars. While the essential leather biker jacket is slipped over a fluid chiffon dress or skirt, a chic tweed-effect raphia version is combined with a matching skirt to give a twist on the classic suit.
The sporty spirit of a little V-neck dress or a sweatshirt is given a shot of glamour with studs and sparkling gemstones, while black panels fit into bright jersey to give a graphic contrast. A technical openwork fabric brings its light structure to a blouse, dress or skirt in pure black or white. Flowers also add to the airy feel of the season, whether in monochrome or multicoloured print versions.
Worked in black, red, yellow, green and bright blue, the Kolor trend galvanises the summer with a selection of products (t-shirt, scarf, trainers...) perfectly matched to the K/Shopper and K/Kuilted bags. The Kuilted range is developped with a clutch and new crossbody and bucket shapes, while the K/Shopper now includes a pouch. If the Grainy range opts for low-key black, white or grey leather, the Karl Logo and Charms bags wear their name well (in actual letters or playful accessories). Also amongst the season's new features, the K/School range with additional shapes and the K/Klassic range now featuring a gold chain as well as a reworking of the collection's floral print.
