Dubai, UAE, December 17, 2014 – Imdaad, a leading provider of integrated facilities management solutions in the GCC, has revealed that it was recently featured in the ‘Top 10 UAE Smart Storytelling Brands’ at the Social Insights 2014 social media event held at The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina. The company was adjudged second for its #ActGreen Campaign with 216,633 interactions for the most successful Facebook posts from SMT brands. The criteria were based on the concept of storytelling and number of engagements received for the posts on a page.
Social Insights 2014 was organized by Socialbakers, a social media analytics platform that allows brands to measure, compare and contrast the success of their social media campaign with competitive intelligence. Other leading brands that made it to the Social Insight 2014 list were Emirates, Etihad Airways, Jumeirah Group, Armani Hotels and Resorts, Aeropostale, and Giordano. Social media networks have become highly effective channels for increasing brand visibility and voice, making them more familiar to existing customers and more accessible to new customers.
Jamal Abdullah Lootah, CEO, Imdaad, said: “Imdaad launched its ActGreen Campaign on Facebook to spread awareness about the need for eco-friendly and sustainable solutions for a better community. We used Facebook as our platform because it has a greater online reach and helped our message get viral fast. Our initiative received 216,633 interactions, making us the second most popular SMT brand in the Q3 2014 according to Socialbakers. We will continue to launch many more meaningful campaigns on various social media platforms to reach out to a large number of people.”
