Schneider Electric Strengthens Field Services Organization Offering Comprehensive Customer Support

Dubai-UAE: 16 December, 2014 – Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management, has strengthened its Field Services Business Unit (BU) to oversee the technical and infrastructure life cycle needs of enterprises for their equipment, software management and building systems.
The Global Field Services Business Unit consists of highly qualified field service representatives who provide professional support for customers’ electrical distribution infrastructure. The unit offers after-sales support and services across all the business units of Schneider Electric. From low voltage circuit and switch breakers, Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS), datacenters to industrial automation and large oil and gas installations, this unit caters to diverse market segments.
Targeted at facilities managers, plant managers and system integrators, Schneider Electric’s Field Services unit assists customers and partners through planning and designing, operations, energy auditing and renewal of equipment. Schneider Electric aims to leverage this unit to increase long-term customer loyalty via effective customer relationship management (CRM) strategies. Some of the CRM strategies include service plans, extended warranties, proactive management of upgrades and installations, trainings and spare parts management as well as retrofit solutions for all legacy customers.
