‘A' List Celebrities Confirm Participation in Masala! Awards 2014 on 28th November

Dubai, United Arab Emirates: The celebrity guest list for the Masala! Awards 2014, taking place on November 28, 2014 at the Madinat Arena, is packed with some of the foremost names in the UAE and Bollywood. Respected businessmen, philanthropists and lifestyle experts will be felicitated for their invaluable contribution to the growth of the UAE and some of the film industry’s finest will grace the evening. The famed actor, Abhishek Bachchan is set to attend the night and receive his award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role, along with Veteran actor Jeetendra, powerhouse Ekta Kapoor, ace director Farah Khan and Bollywood heart-throbs Fawad Khan and Varun Dhawan will be at the most prestigious awards of the region; Varun will also be performing at the Masala! Awards 2014.

The night, which will be hosted by the witty actor and stand-up comedian par excellence Vir Das, will also have a live performance by singer Shilpa Rao, whose latest numbers include Malang from Dhoom 3 and Ishq Shava from Yash Chopra’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan. In addition, the beautiful Humaima Malik, who made her debut in Raja Natwarlal, earlier this year, will also perform at the event.

Held in association with Saif Belhasa Holding, the Masala! Awards above all, celebrates Asian talent in the fields of arts, education, philanthropy and business in the UAE. In 2014, the event organisers have also confirmed Cineyug as the production company for the show. 

In the course of its 7-year journey, Masala! Awards winners have included icons the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Maghanmal Pancholia, Dr Zulekha Daud, Mariamma Varkey, Hrithik Roshan and Ranbir Kapoor. The seventh edition promises to up the ante with some of the most respected names in the UAE and Bollywood in attendance.
