DUBAI, NOVEMBER 23, 2014 - Internationally recognized as one of world’s leading bridal and ready-to-wear brands, British designer Jenny Packham exclusively showcased her Spring/Summer 2015 collection on November 5, 2014 at Magnolia, Al Qasr – Madinat Jumeirah.

Inspired by Marilyn Monroe, her new season collection can easily be summed up in one phrase: retro, sophistication - with a modern twist. The designer dazzled and awed guests with a private défilé which captured the essence of old Hollywood glamour with femininity and allure.

1950s and 1960s influences were apparent in the silhouettes, from figure-hugging body-con dresses in shades of pink and blue (a nod to Marilyn's off-duty style) to full-skirted evening gowns; the collection also featured effortlessly elegant dresses in red-carpet ready black.

Sumptuous fabrics including textured satin, appliquéd lace and silk chiffon met out-of-this-world embellishments; sherbet-hued 3D flowers appliquéd all over a gown, sparkling silver sequined dresses, silk body-con styles with sheer panels and plenty of glittering details.

Often finished by hand, Jenny Packham's glamorous couture-like eveningwear is favored by A-list stars (Taylor Swift, Angelina Jolie, Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz) and royalty (Duchess of Cambridge) alike.
