Al Mawakeb Schools commemorate their 35th anniversary with grand celebrations

VIPs & dignitaries attend the pioneering institution’s special dinner
Dubai, United Arab Emirates (November 8, 2014): Al Mawakeb Schools, alma mater to some of the UAE’s most eminent citizens and residents, celebrated their 35th anniversary with a special dinner in Dubai. The evening was attended by AMSI Alumni Parents and several dignitaries and VIP guests.
Addressing those special guests during this evening, Mr. Adonis Nasr, CEO of AMSI, the school management, said: “We are extremely happy and honored to share this special anniversary day with everyone present here. Our alumni and students have been, and shall always be, the most reassuring drive for betterment of performance at our schools. They are our ambassadors and our benchmark for success. We at Al Mawakeb Schools are committed to providing a comprehensive university preparatory education to students from diverse backgrounds and nationalities.”
The landmark occasion was celebrated with current Parents-Alumni participating in an evening filled with themed activities reminiscent of happy memories of school, stories from their children, present AMSI students, a fun photo booth to mark the moment, and signing a giant canvas to commemorate the evening..
This was a glorious day for the school, Mr. Nasr pointed out. “We have fathers and sons who have all studied in our school over the years. This makes us very proud and helps underline the deep connection our school has with the UAE community,” he further added.
Al Mawakeb Schools have two locations in Dubai – one in Al Garhoud and the other in Al Barsha. The schools follow an international curriculum. Its 6,000+ students study in a unique trilingual education programme in English, French, and Arabic, that prepares them best for higher studies worldwide.
