HH Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed inaugurates Downtown Design Ladies Day

Dubai, UAE; October 30, 2014: Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) today marked the official inauguration of Downtown Design Ladies Day. 

An international showcase of the newest trends in design, Downtown Design is held under the patronage of HH Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed. The three-day international trade fair features talks and workshops aimed at professionals in the design industry including architects, artists, collectors, exhibitors, and designers from across the region.  

Her Highness Sheikha Latifa said: “Design is at the heart of any creative city, and with Downtown Design, Dubai is highlighting its cultural leadership and role in providing a destination for cultural convergence through driving dialogue in the arts and design industries among international artists. Our focus is on providing the right environment for creativity and innovation to thrive across all facets of the cultural scene.
