For many English customers, their first experience of Fortnum & Mason is being taken as a small child for one of Fortnum’s famous ice creams. Our marvellous second floor Parlour keeps this delightful tradition alive for the young – and the young-at-heart. All the ice cream is English, and churned in Dubai – never has international co-operation been so delicious. 

The Parlour has all the much-loved ice cream classics and lots of exciting new flavours, presented in a funky space that guarantees you will come back for more!   Try everyone’s favourite, the iconic Knickerbocker Glory that we first served in 1955 and - to this day - have never had off the menu. Fortnum’s Knickerbocker Glory is a rite-of-passage in London life; passed down by generations of adults who remember the pleasure of their first one, to their own children. Still there is the gasp of excitement at the first sight of the Knickerbocker Glory, and even today there is the challenge of actually finishing this stupendous ice cream treat. 

The Fig & Turkish Delight Sundae has been created especially for the guests at Fortnum & Mason Dubai and is a delightful blend of Vanilla Ice Cream and Blackcurrant Sorbet with sweet figs and Turkish Delight.  

The Ultimate White Chocolate Gold is a grown-up delight; it intrigues the palate, as salted caramel and white chocolate ice cream blend with honeycomb, dark chocolate sauce and Gold Leaf with Sevruga Caviar.   Fortnum’s Trifle is a taste of England, and the Banana & Lime Eton Mess is a 21st century twist on the classic English summer dessert.

The Parlour does not just celebrate all things ice cream; gourmets can choose from Fortnum’s wide selection of English favourites such as pastries, crumpets, and muffins. Hot and cold drinks and tea selections from the world over are the perfect accompaniment to a delicious meal.
