Tasjeel launches new On-board Diagnostic service at Al Qusais site

Dubai, UAE; July 15, 2014: Tasjeel, the UAE’s one-stop-shop for all vehicle testing and registration needs, has launched a new On-board Diagnostic service (OBD) at its Al Qusais site, which helps identify minor or major electrical issues relating to anti-lock braking systems (ABS), airbags and any technical faults related to engine, transmission among others.
Tasjeel is using the most advanced technology for the OBD service, which is updated for efficient testing of electrical issues in all vehicle makes and models. This adds to the extensive range of testing and registration services offered by Tasjeel.
Hussam Al Shawi, Tasjeel’s General Manager, said: “We are continuously monitoring market trends to introduce the newest technologies that add value to the service we offer to our customers. The new service introduced from Sweden, OBD, adds to the unmatched range of services we provide, and will be of immense value for motorists who can pre-empt any safety concerns. The OBD facility suits the requirements of company fleets too for effectively identifying any possible electrical faults and taking corrective steps.”
A business unit of ENOC Retail, Tasjeel undertakes all mandatory tests that are required for vehicle registration. It has nine branches in Dubai, Sharjah, Khorfakhan, and Hatta, and all are equipped with the latest testing and inspection machinery. The sites are manned by professionally qualified staff members, who provide technical advice to motorists.
