Ventures Middle East Consulting Manager awarded the 'Industry Personality of the Year' at the BCI Middle East Awards

Middle East Region, 29 May 2014; Ventures Middle East, the largest regional consulting firm in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Middle East North African (MENA) region, achieved yet another recognition when its Consulting Manager, Mr. Ahmed Riad Ali was recently presented with the 'Industry Personality of the Year' award at the prestigious Business Continuity Institute (BCI) Middle East Awards. The 2014 BCI Middle East Awards took place in Dubai as part of the first BCI Middle East Conference and Exhibition.

The BCI Middle East Awards recognizes the outstanding contribution of business continuity professionals and organizations living in or operating in the Middle East and is committed to raising the profile of the business continuity profession and discipline in this region. 

Industry Personality of the Year Award, decided by public vote, was open to BCI Members as well as non-Members across the Middle East Region. Votes were casted to display support for the two final shortlisted candidates. Majority of the votes went in favor of Mr. Ahmed Riad, Manager of the Risk Management & Compliance Advisory Services Division at Ventures Middle East.

Mr. Ahmed Riad said “It’s a truly amazing experience and I am sincerely humbled by this most prestigious Middle East award from the Business Continuity Institute. I hope to contribute more and more in the coming period in spreading awareness of Business Continuity in Middle East region.
