Molton Brown, London's bath and body connoisseurs since 1973, is delighted to announce the 30th anniversary of their Orange & Bergamot blend. Molton Brown's signature scent, formerly known as Naran Ji, has been renamed to celebrate the collection's key ingredients, inspired by Seville.
Orange & Bergamot is a lively, zesty and unmistakable blend. It features floral top notes of bergamot, middle notes of sweet citrus neroli oil and base notes of warming musk and Sevillian orange extract. This sunny collection has stood the test of time and continues to be Molton Brown's most extensive range, as well as its bestselling hand care duo.
Molton Brown's commitment to the finest fragrances and ingredients is reflected in the Orange & Bergamot Collection. The delicate white blossoms of the bitter orange tree (used to produce neroli oil which is at the heart of the Orange & Bergamot fragrance) are gathered by hand on late April mornings when they're at their freshest. These blossoms are then treated by water distillation to produce the neroli oil (the blossom is too fragile to endure steam distillation), before it finally makes its way to London to be expertly blended with bergamot essence. A signature scent that perfectly captures the heat of the midday sun.
To mark this anniversary in a most British way, Molton Brown has commissioned the award-winning Devon-based Cranfields Foods to create a limited edition Orange & Bergamot Marmalade. Hand-cut Sevillian oranges are blended with bergamot oil, grapefruit and English sugar to create a quintessential British breakfast treat.
