On International Youth Day, we celebrate the creativity, ambition, and limitless potential of young people, who shoulder the hopes and aspirations of their communities and play a vital role in achieving sustainable development goals and shaping a more prosperous future for their nations.

This occasion provides an opportunity to reflect on the importance of empowering youth and providing them with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities needed to strengthen their participation across all fields. Recognising their pivotal role in driving the nation’s progress, the United Arab Emirates has, for decades, placed youth empowerment at the heart of its national vision, guided by the forward-looking vision and unwavering support of our wise leadership. This commitment is evident in the distinguished presence of Emirati youth in leadership and decision-making roles across diverse sectors, as well as their meaningful contributions to achieving the nation’s aspirations.

At the Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai (SLC), we extend our sincere congratulations and appreciation to young people in the UAE and across the globe. We reaffirm our commitment to empowering and supporting youth, recognising their vital role as the driving force behind the advancement of societies and the prosperity of nations.
