Dubai, May 4, 2014 – With its new ScanSnap Software Development Kit (SDK) Fujitsu offers system integrators, ISVs (Independent Software Vendors) and software developers the opportunity to build integrated ScanSnap applications and create tailored document scanning solutions for their customers. The ScanSnap SDK is part of Fujitsu’s ‘Developer & Integrator Program’ and complements existing fi Series and Network Scanner SDKs.
"As market and technology leader for professional document scanners we are constantly striving to offer our partners best-in-class support", said Mike Nelson, General Manager for Sales and Marketing at PFU Imaging Solutions Europe Ltd. "Offering an SDK to our ISV and software developer community takes our channel support to a new level and makes it easier than ever to customise Scan-to-Process for fast and efficient document capture for existing business processes", adds Klaus Schulz, Manager Product Marketing, PFU Imaging Solutions Europe Ltd.
Fujitsu ScanSnap product range
The tool kit supports developers in integrating user applications to the Fujitsu software bundled with the ScanSnap document scanners: ScanSnap Manager, ScanSnap Organizer, CardMinder and ScanSnap Connect Application, which provides mobile device connectivity. The full-featured SDK allows technology partners to create solutions that are easy to develop, install, support and operate.
Software vendors interested in deploying the ScanSnap SDK can raise their request here: http://www.fujitsu.com/downloads/COMP/fel/sdk/QAPM04-ScanSnap-SDK-request.pdf
