DHA Legal Department organises open day to address queries.

United Arab Emirates, Dubai, April 23, 2014:  Dubai Health Authority’s Legal Department held today an open day for Latifa Hospital staff members to address queries with regard to the legal system in the UAE.

The event took place at the Rashid Medical Library Auditorium and was attended by more than 100 staff members.

Dr Ahmad Sulaiman Hassan Ahmad, Director of Legal Affairs department addressed all queries of DHA staff in presence of  Dr Muna Tahlak, CEO of Latifa Hospital.

He said the aim of such forums is to provide a platform for DHA staff members to raise their queries about the legal system in the UAE especially with regard to the healthcare system.

Doctors and paramedics asked several questions including the legal rights of an employee, how to deal with customers in violation cases etc.

Dr Ahmad also explained the concept of civil, administrative and criminal accountability.

The DHA legal holds such  a forum from time-to-time for the benefit of staff members.
