emt Distribution and Secunia conduct training session on vulnerabilty intelligence and security

emt Distribution, the leading international value added distribution company in the Middle East region today announced that it has successfully concluded a training programme on vulnerability intelligence and security. The training session was held in association with Secunia recently at the Microsoft Technology Centre in the Microsoft Office in Dubai Media City, UAE.

emt Distribution offers vulnerabiliity management solutions from Secunia in the Middle East region. Secunia is most trusted third-party patch management software that Microsoft recommends to its customers and channel partners. In addition, Secunia integrates making it easy for customers to deploy the product in their network without any hassles.

It was a one-day training session, which covered product demos, installation processes, sample network scanning, patch deployment scenarios, and common troubleshooting. Secunia and emt Distribution are also developing a certification program to ensure that trained partners are able to consolidate and further develop their skillsets in the field of vulnerability detection and patch management. Post event, emt Distribution will ensure that trained personnel in the channel are able to meet customers and develop their interest in the product.

Speaking about the training program, Nandini Sapru, the Sales Director at emt Distribution, said, "The event was meant for partners, resellers and value-added resellers, who are interested in getting more in-depth knowledge about Secunia and its offerings. According to Sapru, many enterprise level clients are looking to procure vulnerability management and patch deployment products in the near future.
