King Willem Day on Wednesday 30th April 2014!

Abu Dhabi, 26th March 2014 -  Le Méridien Abu Dhabi visitors will get an opportunity to celebrate for the 1st time King Willem day - what was then Queen’s Day- on 30th April from 4:00pm onwards.  

Come, discover and be amazed, this is all about Le Méridien Village Festival! 

The Center Garden will be converted into a Netherland city with typical tulips and orange festive decoration. On this special occasion, Le Méridien Abu Dhabi will have the privilege of welcoming His Excellency Gerard Michels, the Ambassador of Netherland in the UAE, who will be celebrating with us. 

Starting 4:00 pm onwards food stalls will host a large array of authentic Dutch dishes at a very affordable price. Cooking stations will be serving up delicious Amsterdam delights: Ossenworst, bitter balls with mustard and Frikandel. Our Dutch chef will also prepare typical Dutch home cooking dishes such as Hutspot with worst and Boerenkool worst. Finish the feast with some Dutch delicacies like Stroop wafels, Poffertjes and Moorkoppen.

From Netherland we are flying the Dutch singer Wilfred Belles for a live performance and will make you dance until sunset! Get together with family and friends, dress in orange and celebrate what’s great in Le Méridien Abu Dhabi.
