Dubai-UAE: 23 February, 2014 - As a tribute to the women of the UAE, Fitness First Middle East, a Fitness First franchise owned and operated under license by the Landmark Leisure and Hospitality Services Ltd, will invite non-members to its ladies-only facilities across the country on 8 March, International Women’s Day, to experience the clubs’ state-of-the-art facilities for free.
The open day is a part of Fitness First’s ongoing efforts to reach out to women in the UAE and educate them on the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle through regular exercise. It will also provide an opportunity for ladies to get acquainted with the various workout options available at Fitness First clubs. We are offering ladies the opportunity to try new types of exercise formats including a range of Group Exercise (GX) class they might not yet have had the chance to experience. Our female internationally accredited Personal Trainers will also be on hand to offer expert advice.
Fitness First’s International Women’s Day initiative is open to all female residents of the UAE above the age of 16 years. Specially decorated to commemorate the day, the ladies-only facilities will offer a host of Group Exercise (GX) activities in addition to other exercise techniques that are unique to Fitness First.
Mark Botha, Group Operations and Marketing Head of Fitness First Middle East, said: “International Women’s Day is celebrated as a fitting tribute to the vital role that women play within the family, society and the world at large. At Fitness First, we believe every woman has the right to a healthy lifestyle. We are proud to have 11 ladies-only clubs within our club portfolio. We hope to use this International Women’s Day as an opportunity to remind women in the UAE, members and non-members alike, to begin prioritising their health and wellness. We invite women across all ages to visit our clubs on 8 March and try out the various exercise options we offer.”
