Conference on autism discusses solutions to help improve communication and social interaction

Opening day of Autism Around the World Conference 2014 facilitates exchange of global ideas and suggestions

Dubai, February 20, 2014: The fifth edition of the Autism Around the World Conference 2014, organized by the Child Early Intervention Medical Centre (CEIMC) in collaboration with Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC), opened on February 20, 2014, shedding light on the communication challenges faced by people diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs).

Dr Amer Ahmad Sharif, Managing Director, DHCC – Education, Dr Hibah Shata, Managing Director and Co-founder of CEIMC, and international and local experts were in attendance at DHCC’s Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Academic Medical Center (MBRM-AMC). Topics included intervention techniques and inclusion in mainstream schools.
