Malabar Gold & Diamonds organizes blood donation drive as a part of its CSR activities

Dubai: Instead of celebrating New Year with loud parties and bash, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, one of the largest jewellery retailers tries to bring a significant difference to the society by spreading the message of blood donation.
Malabar Gold & Diamonds has been actively involved in CSR activities since its inception in 1993. The group sets apart 10% of its net profit every year for various charity programs in India, The Middle East and Singapore. By organizing a blood donation drive on 2nd January 2014 with the support of Dubai Blood Donation centre, Malabar Gold & Diamonds encouraged their staff to be a part of this life saving act. Inspired by their efforts, the program drew very good response from the public and over 80 donors participated in the blood donation drive to support this cause.
The mobile unit was equipped with four stations and blood was donated after preliminary health screening. Malabar Gold & Diamonds organizes blood donation drive in Dubai periodically with support of Dubai Blood Donation centre as a part of its ongoing CSR activities. They associate with like minded organizations and undertakes several welfare activities in different parts of India, GCC and Singapore for the poor and downtrodden section of the society.
Over the past few years, Malabar Gold & Diamonds offers quality medical facilities to the needy people. The group also supports many such initiatives to help the needy by providing medical facilities, housing, quality education and other welfare activities to the needy.
