Joyalukkas ‘Think Pink' ends on winning note

Two lucky winners get an exclusive diamond pendant.

Dubai, 24th Nov, 2013: Joyalukkas ‘Think Pink' a breast cancer awareness program initiated by the world's favourite jeweller every October, ended on a winning note for two individuals who expressed their support for it on the Joyalukkas facebook page. The winners were picked through a raffle draw from a list of people who expressed their support for ‘Joyalukkas Think Pink' and answered a simple question. Joyalukkas developed a special facebook app for this competition and received an exceptional response.

“We have managed to spread awareness for breast cancer in a big way through ‘Joyalukkas Think Pink' this October through the various initiatives undertaken under this program. This year we managed to reach more people thanks to the support of the Dubai Health Authority and Zulekha Hospital and this has motivated us to make this initiative bigger and better the coming year. Our vision is to reach every woman possible and educate and guide them in fighting this dreaded disease and we have taken the Pink Pledge to continue this as long as possible,” said John Paul Joy Alukkas, Executive Director, Joyalukkas Group.

The two winners of the diamond pendant, Minesh Shah of Dubai and Gia Aria of Oman issued a joint statement on being announced the winners of the exclusive diamond pendant “We only participated in the ‘Joyalukkas Think Pink' contest to express our support for this noble initiative launched by them. However we must say winning this exclusive diamond pendant was a bonus. We feel Joyalukkas is doing a great thing by taking up this cause and spreading awareness to empower women in their fight against Breast Cancer and big thank you to them for the lovely diamond pendant.”
