Deerfields Townsquare to mark UAE's 42nd anniversary by celebrating local culture & tradition

November 21, 2013: Deerfields Townsquare Shopping Centre (DTSSC), Abu Dhabi's new community mall, will celebrate its first UAE National Day this year by hosting an UAE heritage exhibition showcasing various local food products, handicrafts and artworks, garments, and incense and perfumes made by a group of innovative Emirati women.

Running from today (Thursday, November 21, 2013) to January 1, 2014, the exhibition will be held in collaboration with a group of women UAE Nationals from Fine Home International Group (FHIG). Deerfields Townsquare is an ideal venue to reveal the rich history and traditions of the UAE and the admirable contributions of women to the country due to its community-oriented theme.

“This is a special year for Deerfields Townsquare Shopping Centre because we will be able to contribute to the festivities surrounding UAE National Day for the first time. We believe it is important to look back at this great nation's history to celebrate its heritage & culture & how fast and how much it has grown, and plan for even greater things ahead.
