One day training program to best equip nannies in their role as child carers
Dubai: Sunday 10th November Future Kids Accelerated Learning Centre, which brought whole brain training to the UAE, is now launching a Nanny Training programme this December. The termly programmes are designed to provide the necessary guidance and skills to help maximize a nanny's knowledge, and to provide benefit to both her and the children she cares for.
The 3.5 hour courses will run termly, and topics include: nutrition, general safety and hygiene, modified infant First Aid, routines, and stimulating activities to do at home.
‘So many of us leave our children with nannies every day, and they become a child's role model', says Director Samantha Malkoun. ‘It is vital that we share all the information and skills that nannies need to look after our children; not only from a knowledge perspective but from a communication and engagement one too.'
December's classes will take place on Thursday 5th December at 6pm– 9.30pm and on Tuesday 10th December from 10am–1.30pm, and they will be co-instructed in Tagalog.
The programme costs 500 AED and every attendee will receive a Future Kids Certification, a take-home pack including recipe cards and activity guides, as well as follow-up support.
