Emirates Driving Institute Participates in 5th DEWA Health & Safety Week at Festival City
Date: Dubai, UAE, 13th November 2013: Emirates Driving Institute (EDI), the UAE's longest-established and largest driving school is participating in the 5th DEWA Health & Safety week being held at Festival City from 10th November till 14th November 2013.
EDI is showcasing various aspects of road safety through its safety exhibits like Child Seat stand which explains the importance of buckling up the children in cars, Head restraint exhibit which shows how to adjust your head restraint to avoid injuries and Tire Tread exhibit.
By participating in such community events, EDI continues to spread the message of Safe Driving especially amongst general public.
Being held until 14 November, the Health and Safety Week features lectures on health, fire safety, road safety, personal hygiene and school safety, in addition to games, competitions, and free health checkups.
About EDI: Emirates Driving Institute is the largest and the most successful Driving Institute in Dubai and the Middle East and has been in operation since 1991. Around 250,000 students have acquired their driving licenses from EDI since then. EDI has a fleet of over 1000 vehicles in different vehicle categories such as Light Motor Vehicle (LMV), Heavy Bus (HVB), Heavy Truck (HVT), Shovel, Forklift, and Motor Cycles. It has over 1000 qualified Male and Female Instructors of different nationalities who can instruct the students in their primary language making it easier for them to take their driver training.
