KKD Designs First overseas House of Fraser, in Abu Dhabi.

Kinnersley Kent Design is delighted to announce the launch of the 1st Middle Eastern House of Fraser, located in the World Trade Center, Central Market, Abu Dhabi. The new development by Aldar was designed by Foster & Partners as a fusion between classic Arabian architecture and chic modern design. House of Fraser exclusively anchors the new development.

Kinnersley Kent Design has completed the design of House of Fraser's first international store: a showpiece flagship spanning 100,000 sq ft over four floors, opening on the 23rd October 2013.

House of Fraser takes prime position in Central Market. The new development will host a further 150 high end boutiques, casual dining restaurants and an eight-screen cinema in the heart of downtown Abu Dhabi. It forms part of a relaxed spacious environment with an abundance of natural light and greenery. The regeneration of this historic district is part of Vision Abu Dhabi 2030.

The design of the new Abu Dhabi store combines the brand's British elegance and sophistication with a strong, glamorous local identity. It embodies the sleek sophistication that Kinnersley Kent has made the signature of House of Fraser, and specifically adapted for the local market.

It follows the partnership between House of Fraser, the UK's largest department store chain, and Retail Arabia International, to bring the iconic UK brand to the Middle East.
