Dubai based dentist presents latest techniques of same day dental implants in Scotland

October 09 2013: Dr. Costa Nicolopoulos, a leading oral & maxillofacial surgeon and an international speaker on dental implants, was recently invited to speak about the revolutionary techniques used at SameDay Dental Implants, a Dubai-based dental care clinic, to treat patients with dental implants in one day by the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI), a registered dental implant organization based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Dr. Costa was the Podium Speaker on the topic - ‘Minimizing Grafts, Maximizing Treatment' for the Roaming Scotland Study Club of the ADI, held on September 27, 2013 at the University of Stirling, Scotland. During the lecture, he discussed atraumatic surgical techniques used to treat implant patients with suboptimal bone volume, avoiding bone grafting procedures.

Dr. Costa said, “With the use of 3-D digital scans and the latest dental technology at our clinic - SameDay Dental Implants, the patients can have one or all the teeth extracted and replaced immediately with dental implants and fixed teeth all on the same day without bone grafts.
