Special One Fitness opens on twofour54 campus

Located in the twofour54 building, Special One Fitness is the only gym in Abu Dhabi with an indoor race-track and exceptional views of Abu Dhabi.

Grand Opening on 30 September at 6:30 pm

Abu Dhabi, 25th September, 2013: Fitness fans around the Emirate are invited to a special launch event for the opening of Special One Fitness, a new state-of-the-art gym located on twofour54's campus. The new unique fitness centre is the Emirate's only gym with an indoor race-track, featuring exceptional views of Abu Dhabi.

Taking place at 18:30-20.00, Monday 30 September, the event will be hosted by General Mohammad Hilal Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Armed Forces Officers Club and Noura Al Kaabi, Chief Executive of twofour54. The official launch event is open to everyone and qualified fitness trainers will be on hand to provide demonstrations and tours. 

The new spacious gym offers a variety of convenient health and fitness options for the community. Special One Fitness is equipped with the latest, cutting-edge ‘Technogym' equipments, including ‘Kinesis' which offers unique and customised training for all user types, as well as cardio machines outfitted with personalised LCD television screens.

Col (RTD) Salah Selumi Alzaabi, Director of Sports Management, said: “We are very excited to be opening such a well-equipped gym in the heart of twofour54's vibrant community and it's great to be operating the Emirate's only gym with an indoor race-track. The track makes Special One Fitness unique in Abu Dhabi and allows us to organise special training programmes for marathon runners. Managed by the Armed Forces Officers Club & Hotel, Sports Management, the Special One Fitness centre guarantees professional and qualified trainers of the highest standards, offering years of experience to suit the fitness needs of Abu Dhabi's population.

In addition to the state-of-the-art equipment, Special One Fitness centre also offers group lessons in aerobics, spin-cycling, body toning and Zumba.
