Charitable spirit of the Foundation's supporters is driving the movement for healthcare advancements UAE, Dubai, 6August 2013: In the Ramadan spirit of charitable giving and solidarity, Al Jalila Foundation has hosted a special majlis to honour philanthropists, corporate donors and strategic partners who have been instrumental in the not-for-profit organisation's quest to transform lives through medical advancements. Illustrating the Foundation's ever-widening support base, its Ramadan fundraising efforts have elicited a positive response from various walks of life, with the public eager to contribute to a better quality of life through the Foundation's three pillars of medical treatment, education and research. The majlis was hosted by Mr Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, Vice-Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Al Jalila Foundation, who said: “The Foundation's vision of impacting lives through far-reaching healthcare improvements resonates with everyone who shares our tremendous pride and belief in the UAE. Our nation is blessed with people who can make the UAE a global leader in virtually any field, but this potential can only be unlocked if the population is in good health.
