He said, “A great community is a great family and the first duty of the family is to take care of the children. As responsible citizens and businessmen we cannot turn our eyes away from those in distress. Children are our most beautiful and valuable asset and education is the best gift we can give them for a secure and promising future. I would like to congratulate Al-Nafa Foundation for Humanitarian Work & Charity for its incredible contribution. It is a matter of tremendous pride and privilege for us to have these children as our guests during Ramadan.”
The evening took off with the Holy Quran recitation followed by a welcome address by Mr. Ayman S. Khamees, General Manager, Al-Nafa Foundation for Humanitarian Work & Charity. He said, “The resilience of these children who have endured such hardship and trauma in their lives at such a young age is truly astounding and makes us all feel very humble. Our objective at Al-Nafa Foundation for Humanitarian Work & Charity is to provide quality education to these wonderful, awe-inspiring children for a happier and fulfilling future. We are extremely grateful to H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Faisal Al Qassimi for taking the time to encourage them today.”
