ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Saturday, July 14th 2013 [ME NewsWire]: The Capital Police Directorate obtained an extension on its ISO 9001:2008 certification for quality management. Brigadier Maktoum Al Sharifi, Director of the Capital Police Directorate, noted that the extension was obtained after the samples, which were taken and tested during the second follow up visit by Lloyds International last May, were found to be compliant with the requirements of the quality management system. He said that no non-compliance cases at the first class or at any other secondary classes were found during the review.
Al Sharifi attributed the achievement to the efforts made by the staff in the centers and sections in the directorate to enhance performance to improve client satisfaction levels. He added that this contributes to maintaining the achievement made on the security and stability levels in Abu Dhabi thereby achieving the vision of the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters to ensure that Abu Dhabi's society enjoys peace and safety. He stressed that achieving such a society is implemented by providing high quality police services to citizens, residents, and visitors in the emirate.
He urged the staff to redouble efforts in order to continue the endeavor for excellence and development, and improve the services provided to the Capital Police Directorate clients.
Notably, the Lloyds International report stressed that the directorate is committed to applying scientific statistical standards that are comparable in order to draw conclusions for the improvement and development of analyzing opinion polls reflecting a 3.6% improvement in the customer satisfaction rate comparing to last year.
He stressed the need to benefit from the customer satisfaction analysis report, and to circulate it among police departments so that the same methodology would be followed with the aim to develop operational plans that would increase customer satisfaction rates.
